Andromeda is a set of vases inspired by the well-known constellation in the shape of an elongated letter “A”.

Rounded at the base and gently rectangular on the surface, the profile of each vase echoes the inverted “A”, while the horizontal axis of the letter determines the upper edge achieved by a change of plane. The texture and material are carefully studied by Tera in a synergic union of recycled plastic and FSC certified wood.
The result consists in a family of vases with a “new classic” style, characterized by details that can be perceived later on: a sort of deja-vu, easily disproved by observing the formal details.

Andromeda è un set di vasi che si ispirano alla nota costellazione dalla forma di lettera “A” allungata.

Rotondo alla base e dolcemente rettangolare in superficie, il profilo di ogni vaso riprende la “A” rovesciata, e l’asse orizzontale della lettera determina il bordo superiore ottenuto da un cambio di piano. La texture e il materiale sono attentamente studiati da Tera, in un connubio tra plastica riciclata e legno certificato FSC.
Il risultato è una famiglia di vasi dallo stile “new classic”, caratterizzata da dettagli percepibili in un secondo momento: una sorta di deja-vù che viene facilmente smentito osservando i dettagli formali.
